Experience with
What I do
Seven service lines, from microscopic traffic models to rail timetables
Traffic engineering & micro-simulation
Corridor, interchange and intersection models that show how a design behaves before it is built.
02Rail operations & capacity
Shared-corridor capacity and timetable studies for high-speed, intercity, commuter and freight services.
03Transit & station planning
Streetcar, BRT and metro planning, from alignment alternatives to station egress and evacuation.
04Plan review & owner's representative
The agency-side view: reviewing traffic studies and development plans, and running consultant teams.
05Peer review & expert technical opinion
An independent second look at simulation models, capacity claims and study conclusions.
06Forensic engineering
Field inspection and reporting on storm and wind damage to residential roofing systems.
07US–Italy project support
A bilingual engineer for European firms pursuing US transportation work, and US teams working in Italy.

NEOM's The Line: an engineering look at its transport claims
The Line was announced as a 170 km car-free city for 9 million people, crossed end to end in 20 minutes. Since 2024 it has been scaled back, reviewed and, in May 2026, reportedly paused until after 2030. Whatever is built next, the original transport claims are a useful test case: what do kinematics, geometry and line capacity say about a linear city?
